The certification process
Velo Popas is a certification obtained following a simple, fast and clear certification process.
Step 1 - Self-assessment
The self-evaluation can be done directly on the website www.velopopas.ro, by simply creating an account in the space dedicated to service providers.

By submitting the self-assessment sheets, the certification process will be generated. You will receive a message confirming the transmission of the information to Velo Popas and starting the certification process.
We encourage you to start the certification process even if you do not meet all the minimum mandatory criteria. In the following steps you will benefit from our help to fulfill the criteria in a way
Step 2 - Meeting the certification criteria
To obtain the certification, you must meet all the mandatory criteria. The additional criteria will help you promote on promotion platforms, giving cyclists the opportunity to select you as a service provider based on the services you offer.
To fulfill the criteria, you will be assisted by Velo Popas representatives. We can help you both with information, as well as with materials or services necessary to fulfill the certification conditions.
Step 3 - Checking the criteria and signing the partnership
When you consider that you meet the minimum certification criteria, a Velo Popas representative will evaluate the functionality of the services offered on the spot. It is important that the evaluator has access to all the spaces and that the requested documents are made available to him. The partnership contract can be consulted here.
In case of failure to fulfill one or more criteria, you will receive a waiver for the fulfillment of the respective criteria (if it is found that they are minor dysfunctions, which can be easily and quickly fulfilled) or a postponement of the certification (in case the dysfunctions are major or last a long time).
Step 4 - Certification
By verifying the fulfillment of the certification conditions, you will receive the certification diploma, the partnership agreement and the agreement to use the Velo Popas logo.
